Surgical laser with Co2 technology is an advanced technology that uses selective vaporisation to remove benign skin neoformations, such as pendulous fibroids, seborrhoeic keratoses, xanthelasma, sebaceous hyperplasia or warts, without leaving obvious scars.
An accurate pre-treatment diagnosis of the lesions to be vaporised is very important.
Undoubtedly a valid alternative to the scalpel, the co2 laser can be used to prevent surgical scars even in the most visible areas of the face. Proper post-treatment management is essential, and patients must apply the cream indicated by the doctor for adequate recovery. After treatment, exposure to the sun must be avoided for the time indicated by the doctor (usually 1-2 months). It is advisable to wait at least a couple of months before any finishing sessions are carried out.
