Liposculpture is a procedure designed to reduce body volume by redesigning shapes and profiles. It removes hereditary or constitutional fat deposits, which often cannot be reduced by diet or exercise, and is designed to reshape the body.
This procedure can be used for people with isolated, localised fat deposits, which cause imbalances and disproportion in various parts of the body, such as imperfections under the buttocks (saddlebags), fat around the waist, fat deposits on the hips, inner or outer thighs or behind the knees.
It is often used in conjunction with fat grafting (Brazilian butt lift) to further enhance the silhouette of the hips and buttocks.
The procedure significantly reduces localised fat deposits, sometimes defining the underlying muscle profiles; the waist and thighs appear narrower and more toned, and the whole body takes on a slimmer, more sculpted appearance. After some initial swelling, the areas treated will be progressively reshaped, also thanks to lymph drainage massages and elastic abdominal binders.
